Se usualmente escribo a ti en espanol, pero tengo una causa seriosa. I have a serious matter here, so I'm going to write you in plain English.

I used to love you a lot . We used to spend lots of time together. Even when I moved away, we would still regularly talk on the phone and write each other. I thought there was always going to be something special between us two.

We liked all the same things. We could talk about really deep subjects, like health issues, together. We could go back and forth between English and Spanish as we wanted to, and one of us would always know when the other was about to change the language. We sat really close, held each others' hands, said "I love you."

Well, whatever happened to all that? I came back for a visit, only to find out that you had started dating a girl friend of mine. Suddenly, all you had to say about me was that my music was horrible and, in your mind, out of tune. You also said we didn't belong together.

And you know what, Javi, It only gets better. I came back for another visit, and found out you had broken up with my girl friend, Sharon, and started dating yet someone else. Sharon seemed to be deeply hurt by your breakup. Did you give Sharon the same "true love" act you gave me? At that time, I also found out you had lied to me about your birthday. You had always told me it was in December, but it's in April. Did you think I would love you less if I knew when your birthday really was? Javi, you're a modern day Don Juan.

As for Maria, I hope you actually stay with her, and don't play games with her, and her heart, like you did with Sharon and me. Goodbye, Javi, stick with Maria, and good luck.
